Correction: "start erasing his right side", meant to say start erasing HIS left side, which would be your right if you're looking at him... Sorry for the confusion =P

I tried lowering contrast & it helps, but putting him behind guy in front doesn't. He's leaning flat against the wall, so putting right side behind just makes it look like the guy's leaning on him.

Also, the people in line are in sharper focus than the guy you placed in there. So you sould probably blur the other people just a little to make them match and make it look more real.
