Patim, I was going to comment and vote before I read your comments. This would get a vote from me just for using the source the way you did. And you pulled it off very well. I knew what it was right away. The only thing I'm not sure of is the white line in the ice ... I believe it is supposed to be a crack? Even so it is great ... I think the most creative use of the source for this contest.

I like this a lot. If I could be so bold..... the web looks ever so slightly wrong, perspective-wise. You might wanna use the image>transform>distort option to really customise it. And I think that white hose/rope? is a distraction. More votes? Yeah I think it deserves more. Perhaps if you had cut the image down the middle and only posted the right-hand side, bigger of course, it might have done better. That said, you just never can tell what people will vote for. I hope you see this as constructive and not an attack on my part. I really like your image. :)

Maybe an explanation will do. The hawk attacks the duck with a stone and misses. The stone leave a crack in the ice (spiderweb). Is it that badly chopped or are you all out of votes :-(
