It is subtle, but it is there...

One of the questions I ask myself about this picture is: Did he shoot himself in the foot to avoid walking toward the "front lines"?
Patre Patre
Was it an accident, friendly fire or shot by the enemy?
badcop badcop
Sorry Patre I'm not sure I see the source. Did you lay it over the army boot and reduce the opacity?
Patre Patre
Yes, badcop, that is exactly what I did, and then I added the dust effect on the boot. To verify for myself that the source boot was still visible, I pulled up the source pic. and compared with my version. On my monitor, at least, the integration is obvio
Patre Patre
I am happy to forward the .PSD file to anyone who needs to verify that the source pic is indeed integrated and visible.

my first time ever to question you Pat.... don't get me wrong, the post is great quality as usual, but you say seamless? I ask then why I see line running down the ankle to heel areas from top to bottom?
Patre Patre
Thanks a4pawedpal for your question. The line you see is a shadow line and is not part of the integration. I felt the shadow was genuine and decided not to alter it.
