please stay away from the standard drop down shadow !! ... you may try adjusting levels on the mushroom part ... that way it will be more 'one' piece ...

thx deshone. That's not a standard drop shadow. I may have done a good job making it look like a drop shadow. I did the shadow quickly just to have a comparison. Do you think a shadow in general (if it was a good shadow) makes the pic look better on just

The way the light is at this picture, looks like it is standing... you have to do the shadow at the end of the bone. In fact it appears to have 2 sources of light; one at the bottom and other at he head... it's better to leave it without a shadow... :)
