This whole thing is about fun, if you can't have fun why bother. I have done a few gifs and never went to imageready.

Yep I like using gif's as well Caf, I beleive that its all PS work, a gif just has more than one image altered, that should count for more votes huh. Nice work and dont give up.

Why did my gif play so much faster after I uploaded it than when I played it on my computer? I slowed it down quite a bit here. Let me know how you pur-r-rceive it, please. PMs welcome! ;)

for you. Every frame starts as a layer or combination of visible layers from an original PhotoShop document. Image Ready just cycles through them in the order and speed you tell it to. Like old-time cartooning, or even a paper flipbook, it is up to the

person to make sure each sequential frame fits with the intended motion when viewed as an animation. (If there are easier ways, I'd love to hear them!) Animation adds a different dimension to the art of PhotoShop, and it certainy isn't everyone's cup

Note to the PSC gods: even as the (as yet) disadvantaged users like myself are enjoying the larger source pics, the enexpected truncation of comments is getting annoying. :)

Okay...I get the running "cat gag" now. No one likes a live one. Just imagine turning the key while kitty's still there... ;)

I notice on my computer that Gifs play at different speeds in Firefox vs. Explorer.
