I'm liking the idea, I'll give you a vote for that, though the shading on the bottle needs work as I can't tell wether its square or smooth. Also the drip looks more like a cut-out than a drip, I suggest trying to use the smudge tool to shape the drip.

also, if you would've added a background, like a gradient color or something... and possibly put the nail polish bottle on top of something... make a puddle ... i'm sure it would be a thousand times more better... but i like the idea so here's a vote.
