Cool! Nice! I think that the shadows of the drops on the book are a bit too dark, can be more redish or a bit purple. And those drops can looks like less moving down. But it has an great illustration look, I like it! Really nice! :)

its several raindrop images Show, then worked into using the select colour and masking tools, then highlighted and shaded, then I varied between layer blending options and then merging the layers so it looked as real as possible.

the shaded and light parts are on contrasting parts of the image, like the lense, so the drops can be seen, ie: dark = highlighted, light = darker, then the rain is hand drawn the smudged and motion blurred then placed in best positions.

then finally did some splases, and then sorted out the colour correction to match to a stormy, rainy, dark atmosphere.....ok, hope that helps :oD
