the butterfly I shot with a digital olympus 3.0 megapixel with 2.8 optical zoom, had to set the camera about an inch away, and zoom all the way in, this is the original color and focus:) it was busy with a crabapple. my best photo ever:)

this is quite beautiful. my only suggestion would be to play up the source more as it's the basis for the competition. however, if i was voting for gorgeous images, i'd vote for this.

Very nice, good eye finding the swan in the chair. If it was in the foreground, this would have gotten a lot of votes. Crisp butterfy photo.

I agree with JMH. It would have been a far stronger entry if the swan was more prominent, as it is now the composition is so busy the eye has no place to anchor. Lots of nice work here though.
