I liked your entry today and voted for it. Your glaze sheen was exceptionally good. A suggestion: To get a transparent effect on the glass turtle,: 1. Open a new transparent file, same size as the original. 2. Sample the red background from the source an

and fill the new file with it. 3. Cut out the turtle and place it in the file you just created. 4. Take a soft brush at about 15-25 percent opacity and erase over the turtle till you get a transparent look that doesn't erase the turtle's features.

This will probably take some experimentaion until you get the look you want. Before you do the erasing, you can put on the glazed sheen, like you did for your entry. For a pure glass look, desaturate the turtle before erasing. After you have erased to tra

After you have created the transparency, you can also add a gaussian blur to the turtle to give it even more of a "looking through glass" effect.
