I missed the pre-edits. I like the b&w .gif currently posted. It's simple but effective in conveying a movie... and gets my vote. The larger .gif is totally awesome. I agree that a smaller, perhaps shortened version should have been the "real" entry.

Michel
PLEASE VOTE FOR THE GIF, NOT FOR THE STILL PICTURE. Link provided in the author's notes. Thank you.
TheShaman
thanks for the lesson but isnt that cheating Michel? the gif is awesome, but way beyond the size limits of this contest...
Michel
Shaman, cheating? I thought everyone was allowed to post author comments. Or maybe then it would've been better to post the last frame, which shows some of the work involved, but then again the GIF's comical effect wouldn't work as well.
TheShaman
I guess... I dont mean youre cheating putting in authors notes... What i would do in this situation is post a lowres gif. and then in the authors notes post the highres one... not just posting a picture and saying vote for my 1.2MB gif I did.
TheShaman
if you do that, I will def throw ya a vote.. cause the gif itself is awesome!
Michel
All right, that makes sense, but the low res GIF will really suck a**.
Michel
I changed the lame, uninteresting, oversized and irrelevant jpeg of the first frame with a tiny version of the GIF, after a recommendation by TheShaman that made sense.
TheShaman
the killer looks made me spit coffee at my screen the first time too
Michel
Would it be acceptable to post something like this instead of a tiny version of the original gif?
TheShaman
whatever Michel. IMPO I think youre better off with the gif posted... but its your entry bud or maybe a slide from it. like Killer Looks vs. Lame Hat
volkswes
My suggestion for next time is: Definitely start out posting a smaller version of the gif instead of some unrealated chop, then if needed a link to the full size gif in your comments, but the small image should be worthy of the votes.
volkswes
....or of course a still image from the gif can work too as long as it is vote worthy in itself. Example: photoshopcontest.com...
Michel
Lesson in rodents V 5.1 : Great thanks to volkswes and Kansas for their great suggestions. This time I am sure I got it right.

Excuse me please.. But the is dare I say it..F#$%ing Great!!! Way to go dude... Now everytime you have a huge gift you put this up and post the GIF. I think this is how everyone should do it.. So we can always see the high quality GIF! COOL-O
