Been involved in photoshop contests in another site designers know was Worth1000.

I decided to join because i feel the voting in W1k isn't fair. And i found myself, numerous times, screaming at the computer when i didn't even get a top 3 spot LOL...

this site seems to have just as much competition but not as "stuck up" as w1k so im eager to start competing and presenting my work to the public

What's this "Worth1000" site you speak of? Never heard of it. Is it new?

the votes on contests effects ur "worth" value on the site.

it costs 4.99 to buy 50 credits

beginner ps contests = 2 credits
advanced ps contests = 10 credits...

on some contests they will give u rules on the game... such as:

FANTASTIC ELASTIC (advanced photoshop contest)

"The rules of this game are thus: Take any person or object and make it appear stretched as if it were elastic. As always, quality is a must. We will remove poor entries no matter how much we like you. You'll have 48 hours for this contest, so make your submission count."

u can earn medals and awards and if u win 1st place u earn free credits to ur account.

the whole idea of the site is incredible IMHO but the voting sometimes seems a bit shady.
