Just watched England beat the Magyars in a pretty uninspiring warm up game. Theo Walcott became the youngest ever player to play a full international match for England at 17yrs 75days. I still don't think England are good enough to win the World Cup but they will be hard to beat.
A friend of mine reckons that if Scotand had qualified they have the players to take on anyone!!!

If anyone is interested, there is a free excel spreadsheet at the link below for the world cup
I've seen sheets like this before which compile the group tables etc, but this is easily the best yet.
There are flags of each country and if you click on one, it plays the national anthem of that country.
If you click on a fixture, it highlights the stadium on a map to the right. And if you click on the stadium on the map, it shows you a picture of it briefly.
It covers every angle of eventuality including penalty shot outs and even drawing of lots at the group stages. Great fun. Enjoy.

besides, if me and anfa were at splodge's pub together, there wouldn't be enough beer in the bar...
and Ronaldinho wasn't tired... he was saving himself to the world cup... why bother with the european cup when he can own the WORLD cup?
