Simple but still cool looking gif.

that's just a couple photos made into a gif. Is that what you mean, you're going to do a photo one, or are you going to do the water motion in PS?

Oh I know it's just a sequence of the pictures like a stop-motion animation but I like the idea.

I've got a decent camera, a tripod and summer landscape. So I think ima gonna play.

If I had the skills and talent of Jerry, Double-Rey or any other maestro I'd attempt the building of water animation.

Saaaayyyy. If any of the gurus read this care to take a shot at animating something like this by hand and then tell us how you did it? By that I mean take a still shot of something implying the pouring of a liquid and then hand creating the pour?

If I may be so bold, there's a program called unfreeze that I use to make gifs. It's free, it's about 17k, and it's about as simple as it gets.
