Just burn all the images from thid thread in a cd as jpegs and any graphic work he gets done like truck lettering--
he can just hand them the disk,
those guys know what they're doing, they'll
straighten it all right up for him.

That is getting a bit nuts. Simple is better. Trust me. When you are designing a logo for use in advertising, especially a vehicle, legibility is crucial! The more bells and whistles you have thrown in to the design the bigger chance of distracting from the intended message.

As far as the climber is concerned...could easily be mistaken for a lineman, this could add confusion. and there is no need to worry about playing off of his interest in competitions.

I also looked at the option as Scion mentioned...still think it's too cluttered.

If your friend decides he would like to use my design (whole or part) let me know. I will send you the file ready-to-cut.

Thanks for the fun. Since I sold my shop, all my design work has been for one customer (my employer) it's nice to work on something different.
