does anyone belong to any music clubs? the selections could be a little better, but you can get some good stuff for really cheap, if anyone is interested I can help, and the best part is, you can get some free! if you don't count shipping and handling that is

Paul Von Stetina wrote: OK, best concert...that's a tough one, I've seen so many, one time I saw War in a tiny nightclub when I was like 20, I had my feet on the stage, and there was about 40-50 people there, every song they played was an absolute hit, and they nailed it, Steely Dan was awsome, I saw Todd Rundgren with Ian Hunter at the Agora Ballroom in 82, great show, I was watching Sting the night John Lennon got killed, I got to the front of the stage for Pink Floyd, Animals Tour. Backstage pass for a Genesis Show, high fived Phil as he jumped in his Limmo, oh my brain cells...so many lost
Most memorable show...1994...Hampton VA...Parliament/Funkadelic...I was sitting in the upper level...watching the clouds of smoke rise from the people down below...eventually, we started our own smoke machine...I mean, the entire place was up in smoke!!!

Anyway, I just picked up this "Wilco" double CD " Kicking Television - Live in Chicago" And it kicks ass too. You will not be disappointed, putting this in your collection
Paul Von Stetina - I've just downloaded the album from PIRATEBAY. It's very good, I like it a lot. Reminds me a little of the early Chicago Transit Authority. It's a good quality download, 320kbit mp3 files.
My own personal favourites are the Rolling Stones, I'm an oldie who saw their early concerts. Bob Dylan and a guy called Khaled whose origin is in Algeria, his music is truly inspirational especially if you go to the trouble of checking out his background.
KEEP ON ROCKIN'

Yes! Good stuff!
"Sakura" from Susumu Yokota is a classic. Very smart composer.
I saw Cinematic Orchestra live. At the end, the show turned crazy! Something like
a super-heavy-funky-bebop-trash improvisation... something very different that what we can hear on CD.
Some stuff I listen regularly: Joseph Arthur, Bill Frisell, Buffalo Daughter, Elbow, Kid Loco,
Kruder & Dorfmeister.
The most crazy concert I saw: I think Nina Hagen "Nunsexmonkrock" in 83.
She's the Devil!

Yesterday evening I visited the Jazzfest Vienna when Gotan Project played in the Vienna opera! Smooth music, superb visuals and a very special setting in this old, traditional house. Tomorrow I am going to see Herbie Hancock, also in the opera-house!
