I've been checking out this site for quite some time now because it was one of the only interesting websites that wasn't blocked by the military firewalls. There was a website called "BOREDATWORK.com and this was listed on there. I've been stopping by every once in a while to check out some of the amazing things you all can do and I must say that it has really motivated me to brush up on my skills. Been using photoshop here and there for about 6 years. I was introduced to it by my neighbor in college. He had his brand spankin new G4 Cube and he was always making these really neat designs. He was making flyers for clubs and local DJ's and getting paid for it! I was instantly aroused lol. Right up my alley indeed. Ever since then I've been helping friends and family with my "Self-Taught/Tutorial-Learned" Photoshop Skills. I think my interest in Photoshop even motivated my little sister in her college major. She is a Junior in Graphic Design and get's to take classes I could only dream of taking. I like to think I still know more than her though. Anyways, I will probably upgrade to the ADVANTAGE account since I seem pretty hooked on this stuff now. So far I've submitted 4 entries so check em' out and leave me some comments and constructive criticisms. I believe you only learn from the mistakes you make. Thanks to everyone for your warm welcomes.

HELLO! EVERYBODY!

Well, I can't really claim Texas since I'm just stationed here for a few years... I'm originally from Southgate, Michigan. I grew up there (18 yrs) then moved to Ypsilanti, Michigan to attend Eastern Michigan University for 2 semesters. Then I joined the Air Force and got stationed in Omaha, Nebraska (Offutt Air Force Base) for about 4 years. Then I got a teaching job in Wichita Falls, Texas (Sheppard Air Force Base) about 6 months ago. So, you can include me if you'd like I guess. I love Texas so far!
