Just a heads up that Polish has been here almost as long as I have been... I believe his previous account was either deleted or he ended up changing accounts...

Just wanted to be sure you knew Polish wasn't just a lurker with nothing to show.

Ahh, Thanks for clarifying.

I then retract my prior statement.
But still support Brochris:. and his libid use of Papyrus Font.

Very Happy

thanks dew Very Happy

yeah ive been here since april of 2002. ended up changing accounts. ask around. people know my work (now that i think about that, i dont know if thats a good thing or not!)

back on point, brochris. i understand what you mean about wanting to use a font that is widespread so that everyone can view the page how you intended it. why not just make them images? with the size of those headings, simple text on a background using the save for web feature shouldnt make those images more than 10k. thats nothing, even for dial up.

I could make them images, but that's a lot of images to go back and make. Consider all of the subpages...every link on the left to a portfolio item has a heading with that font on its page. Plus, if I keep it simple (the way it is) then I can add pages and not have to make a heading image every time I do.

I think I'll keep it the way it is.

looks good.
my only complaint... Brown background with black text makes Shaman squint his eyes... thats no good paleface... no good at all! maybe try a light tan? (not yellow) or white? ...and yes $20/hr is very low (for freelance that is) my company charges the client $60/hr... yet I only see $16.35 of that.. .so I prob would be happy with the 20
Laughing
anyway
God Bless You Chris. Good luck in all your endeavours
