so o rush on over to the site only to find no-one has sent me anything i am crushed that no one sees the need to PM me and even more crushed that the site is laughing at me.

could be your mail arrived late, maybe you had a pm yesterday? and allready read it.

Personaly, my notification mails come about 7-8 hours after I've actually received a pm. Don't know if the mails are delayed by psc self. (Since my gmail is rather slow lately, other mails also arrive pretty late there)

nope not one of the pms i had was from any later than the 14th of this month
and the time/date stamp on email was 323am today (22nd)

hahahha, so it's not me. I had one this morning too. the inbox link was red but there where no messages.

Maybe someone PM'd you, and then deleted it. because either
A) you didnt respond fast enough
B) they answered their own question
C) playing a huge joke on you

I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I would just turn off your notification in your e-mail and wait for the inbox tag to go red here at PSC. Besides, they have that little popup here telling you that you have a PM anyway.

lol, it'll be ok. I had someone leave me a message telling me about another site yesterday. It is something similar to this one, I was kinda dumbfounded

yeah..someone pm'ed and then deleted, not waitin' for ya to get on line.
I get more of those than I do PMs.

Well, I deleted the person who sent it to me and that person had only posted one thing in forums and didn't have any pics either. but the site is http://photoshopfaceoff.com/ I thought someone was spamming for their site..... I did check out the site for a sec, but I deleted the message.

I got that e-mail a few months back too Meg..

We have some spam filters set up. Some times junk messages get removed and fails to remove the notification as well.

Yeah i got a message like that when i started Saying

Its bad enough theyr'e spamming but lying too.

Oh, well honest spammers are hard to come by.

I had mixed feelings about it. I really like this site and have no desire to not be on it anymore. I don't have time for this one like I would want to so why would I want to join another one. I am really starting to feel at "home" here.... it's nice
