well. tom, we're all a bit mystified as to how this relates to the
halloween or horro theme. We also don't want to offend anyone's particular
religious sensibilities (unless it's so funny we just can't resist, and
still sticks with the halloween/horror theme)
It's a neat image, but it just doesn't quite fit with the contest itself.

What is halloweeny about a stone face of Jesus!?!?!
We're EXTREMELY wide open in trying to consider even the most VAGUELY
halloweeny/horror-ish submission... it's not a scary image,
it has nothing in it that relates to halloween or the horror theme.
We have to draw the line SOMEWHERE in sticking to the theme.
I'm sorry you're disappointed. We do our best.

Ok... this is weird. I didn't see the jack o lantern at ALL
when I first looked at this. Neither did the two other people
I showed it to. I still can't quite make out the spider or
the raven, but doesn't matter. Apologies! We'll get your image
into the contest. (strange!)
