Last month, when I visited Finland for the Airguitar-Worldchampionships, I shot this foto. It seems like I caught a ghost
The foto shows the end of the championships, when the new airguitar-worldchampion from Japan took his prize, a fake guitar out of plexiglass. I was standing in a bunch of fotografers and journalists, holding my camera in the air and shot without aiming. Whilst this I didnt notice anything strange. Even a college who was standing beside me and making a video, had nothing on his film. I swear that I didnt change anything. This foto is original from my memory-card. Also weird is the combination of sharp edges and transparency in the middle.

Any comments or ideas? Did you ever ban a ghost on a foto?

what was your shutter speed?

Somebody probably threw some white cloth in the air.

sorry fungas, I have no idea. Its a totally primitive Samsung Digimax 210SE what I am using all automatic...but I was shooting with flashlight, so it choses a shorter time than without flash.

I did also think, that it was a shirt or something else white. but I did not aim through the cam, so I saw my surrounding normally, and there was nothing flying around. I should have seen it, if there was something. or I forgot it no, there was really nothing!

If you open up the originals images properties and go to the summary tab theres an option for veiwing the advanced properties.
That should show the shutter speed and lots other info.

ah, ok. and again learned something new. It says 1/30 sec.

Looks like someone threw a t-shirt or a towel to me.

Looking again it almost looks like a guy in a straight-jacket with a hood over his head.

From what I got off the pic you posted, your shutter speed was 1/30sec and your aperture was f/1.4

Actually I had a similar experience....2 days later my SM card had "ahem"..........."ghosts"on every other image.......my suggestion.........throw the card and cam away...or replace the photographer.......bwahahahahahah....j/k....I slay me........
