Over the years I have purchased/downloaded filters for Photoshop. I have always try to keep them away from the photoshop directory by installing into sub-folders and pointing CS2 to this new folder.

My question is, how do I re-arrange into sub-filters into categories? The reason I want to do this is because I have certain types of filters like neat image, that I would like to group with other enhancing filters.

I have Pswitch and plugincommander and either I am doing it wrong, but when I try to create a sub-filter category it states that it can not move it because it was not created by filter factory or something like that.

So do you know of a name of a program or can you organize them in CS2? Also is there a limit on how many filters you can have? I ask because I just downloaded some and installed and I do not see them.

You don't need 3rd party filters. They are all worthless. Throw them all away and then you do not have to organize them.

not true. well... partly true. someone pointed me in the direction of a 3d shadow filter a while ago and i've never looked back. it really is a good filter. other than that they all suck get it right 2rey!

Try edit, preferences, plug ins/ scratch disks" clk next till it sais choose plug ins folder" add plug ins"

Yes I understand that and I have the plugins in one folder, but I want to organize (sub-filter) into categorize.
