Yup. trillions upon trillions of stars.
What's so cool is as how we've got great shots of trillions and trillions of stars and not one of them is forming,
not one of them is a baby star.
Plenty old old dead and dieing ones but not one new one.

not all stars were formed during the big bang if thats what you mean.

i think they do actually have pictures of stars forming but im not sure.

A simple internet search will show many instances of new stars forming from collapsing clouds of gas and dust. There are unbelievably wonderful photos of this process which are humbling in their beauty. What an incredible universe we live in.
