When you make a logo, I was wondering how big you usually make it. I used to make them quite small (under 500x500 pixels), but with each logo I make, they get bigger and bigger, so they can be printed larger if needed. I finished one last night and it ended up being just under 4000x4000 (after cropping out unused space).

So if make logos, how big do you make them?

I think most people prefer their logos to be created in vector form, so size isn't an issue.

I used to make huge logos in photoshop until I discovered Adobe Illustrator. This program allows you to make vector logos that can be enlarge or reduced to any size without losing quality. Comes in handy when your client wants to use it on a billboard.

Ah, yes, you're probably right. Too bad I don't have illustrator.
