I love to browse in the gallery, and now I noticed something I cannot find an answer for.

As you know, one can filter the entries by "most votes", "humor" etc. But since in the voting there is still the possibility to vote for the quality "other", where are the pictures that got the most votes there? Also, since "other" is the default setting, I suppose there are a lot of votes given in that category.

Maybe it would be an idea to either include the category "other" in the gallery or remove the voting possibliy for "other" without setting a default. In that case every voter would have to chose a category.

What do you think? Do I get something wrong here?

i have no idea to be honest. in my view though, filtering by other would mean nothing. if you filter by authenticity, then the things that come top are the most authenic of the contest, but voting other has too many different meanings for the filter to provide any information.

also, having to choose an option may put some people off because they like fast voting, especially if your doing 20 in a row. not choosing is a no brainer, and people like not thinking

since you just said yourself, that people like fast voting and not thinking, I guess there really are a lot of pictures in the "other" section.

But nevertheless, I'm sure you're right, the filter for the "others" would probably blast the thing.

I just thought that there must be a whole lot of magnificent pictures that do not show up in the galleries due to that.

I just want to see the actual number of votes each category gets. I've been saying it since the categories have been added!
