This morning I come in to work at 6:30 as usual. I boot the computer and go in for my PSC fix by 6:38. The dailies show that I have 22 minutes left to vote on the Breaking Clouds. BUT when I go to vote it tells me that the voting has ended. It's only 6:40 a.m. here.

Must be a glitch with Daylight Savings time on the server? It's too bad too because that's such a close contest. Only four votes difference between 1st and 6th.

That must be a problem due to october 29th clock changing?

nowhere near as much trouble as I had a few hours ago trying to vote for Merlin's flower on rock entry ! (which turned out to be his entry for a similar looking flower source in August!)

That was a good contest and that's why I waited to vote. Ended up not casting a single vote all because of a glitch.

Sigh.

I'm going to finish voting in the Flower on Rock now so that I don't run into the same problem tomorrow.

I was in the same boat. I think what's going on is JMH is giving the same amount of time on every submit and that the last couple were in the middle of daylight savings time so they ended an hour earlier. I noticed on the cloud one this morning that it said it was ending at 7 (edt) and the other two were set to end at 8(edt).

ah so that's why i got so few votes! i don't feel so bad now
