I noticed their are a lot of people on here who are not advantage members and their is probably some kind of reason behind why they arent, no money to do it, no credit card, etc. Not myself included, I am going to get the advantage membership, but it was just a thought.
I agree with the credit card issue, i don't have one and i want to have an advantage membership... i have asked many of my friends if i could use theirs but since online is not safe anymore too do so they wont do it i wish PSC would come up with money order or something like that. Just and idea.

Has a solution been found for this? Just curious.
just out of curiosity... in here, I got my US$99 valued tablet today... I have to pay US$89 in taxes to get it.
books, magazines and prescripted medicines are free of tax though.

Well thats flat out stupid,What if you didn't have the $89 to spare??? maybe JMH could just send you a money order or something,I do remember that option or one similar when the prize contests were first announced why not PM him and let him know there is a problem in case he misses this thread,BTW enjoy the tablet

I've been told the taxing issues have been sorted from the initial first few prizes... I am expecting the twisting pixel stuff soon, i'll tell ya how that goes on tax wise.

I went to the mail and they informed me prizes are not taxed. Although, I had to attach documents proving it was a prize... I took a few screenshots, and sent them, so, in a few days I'll know if they'll give up on the taxes.

Best of luck with that, arcaico. Really unfair for you to have to pay so much.

jmh132 wrote: A lot of questions have been flying in about the prizes. Here are some more details:
We will be giving away *at least* one prize per week.
Prize contests are anonymous until they have ended.
We will ship to locations where common shipping services deliver to. If it is too remote then an online gift certificate will be provided as a replacement.
If your company wants to sponsor a prize, it is free to do so. The prize must have a retail value greater than 99 US Dollars. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)  :D :D :) :( b cvbf
