I was wondering if their is a tool in photoshop that would delete all of one same color... like the background. I know there is the magic wand tool but sometimes it leaves the edges or deletes more than it was supposed to.

select drop down menu then colour range fiddle with slidder after selecting colour with eye dropper. May have to unselect colours if more is grabbed within the image you wish to keep, but on the whole quite quick and simple to use for less experienced.
