Free Chips!!


A cargo container that apparently fell from a ship washed up on the Outer Banks of North Carolina today and spilled thousands of bags of Doritos brand tortilla chips on the beach. Scavengers collected the chips, which were apparently still fresh due to their airtight packaging. It was unknown which ship had lost the cargo or to what port it was bound.

hey...this is where I live, well a little south in Frisco, NC. My coworker took that photo. We have about 4 trash bags full of unopened bags of Doritos in the office. I am eating a bag of them as I type this. Apparently there are 2 more crates out there...I hope it's some salsa and beer.

Hey clonestamp trooper... you live in Frisco!! Lucky guy! Love the Outer Banks. Great quiet place, nice waves. I'm usually going there every year. Maybe next September. Sometimes renting houses, sometimes some camping at Frisco or Buxton.
It's off season & probably very quiet there right now?
But if there's really a crate full of beer, you'll see some tourists soon!!
