I'll have some pics up in a bit, I hope
Living in Florida, I've been lucky enough to catch a few launches, the closest I ever got was Sebastion Inlet, about 20+ miles away, and it shook the ground, it also felt like it was less than a mile away, so if all goes well, the scheduled launch is for 9:35PM tonight, I can still see it all the way down in Fort Lauderdale, as long as there are no clouds, night launches are very cool.

I hear this is a beautiful site to see!
My wife was going to elementary school in FL and her class went to the playground to watch the Challenger go up. All the kids were watching as it exploded. Definitely a day she will not forget.
I'll be praying for the safety of the crew whenever they do launch.

is that the most understated to the point comment I have read ever.... I think so
I would more likely say it was a tragedy for the space program at the time, but so so so much more to all the lives it hurt as a result.
