This would probably be a total pain to implement but heres my idea:
On Threads there is a "Report As Spam" button. If a certain number of spam reports are logged, say, 2 or 3. The thread is hidden the mods can see if its spam or not after its hidden.

You could have that option for members with 10 chops so only real members have the power.

one chop! one chop is it needs! if you've never posted a chop, you cant post on the forum, there is an admim option, on any forum form, to set this option "hot" "active" "nonactive" set a number, job done

Good ideas, will forward to JMH. Things are crazy this time of year, crazier than usual. Sorry about the spam, but we all get it in our Email as well. Mods have lives too...

I'll trade you my 4 kids for more spam deleting time....ANYONE??
