Welcome to PSC.
Exactly why is it people only care about getting ten in to vote?
Used to be people cared about whether they could chop good enough to hang.

Had the same conversation with cafn8d a coupl'a weeks back. I just wanted to chop when I got here, voting was secondary. To each their own I guess, whatever- welcome and have fun with it all.

I see your point about the voting thing. I do love choping for choping sake, I didn't know it was such a sensitive topic. Has there been cases where people rush to submit there 10 images regardless of the amount of thought thought or quality? I only meant that wanted to get involved in the community fully but perhaps I should have lurked around the forum longer. wait, that sound creepy. 
BTW I submitted my first chop in the blue parrot category, feel free to rip it to shreds .

You sound cool enough to me, and I don't think it's all that sensitive an issue, just something that a couple of us find unusual- that's just us, nothing to apologise for. As for an example of someone rushing to get 10 entries in so they could hit the wonderful road to votasticness, this is the best example I can think of, and I challenge ANYONE to find a better one:

Just read the entry notes  - god sakes. Anyway, it is cool that you wanna get involved fully as much as you do. It's a cool place, with some cool people ( and a few proper tw*ts). I'm not as involved around here as I'd like to be, but if you have a good attitude and enjoy chopping ,you'll like it.

PSC has seen it all! Fraudulent accounts, Fraudulent voting. Fraudulent pictures. You wouldn't believe some of the things ScionShade will do to win...

It is CHO PPING. With 2 "p"'s
I'm not sure what CHOPING is, but I think you'd get arrested in parts of the mid-western states for doing it.
