....and voting as usual, it's because I've been having some computer troubles. Random freezes/crashes and one BSOD. Might have an imminent HDD failure coming. I'l be around when I can...

I really, really, really understand your pain! In fact, my computer finally went to PC hell the other day, no recovery possible. Now I have a relatively new computer with 2.4 GHz Intel and like 382mb of RAM (Don't ask...) Anyway, hopefully this one lasts...At least it's not a goddammed HP. hallelujah!

Good luck with that..my friend just went through a week of restoring data! Make sure you back up your data regularly.

Thanks guys. I usually keep a decent ghosted image to restore from, but I've been a little lazy of late...it might be a few months old. Not sure whether to ghost an image now or not. If it's a corrupt file system prob, then I'll end up with a corrupt image I supose. Tending to think it's going to be a hardware prob though....

Sorry BB. Hope ya get it under control.
I've actually put everything on my external drive and all thats on my pc is my program files.

I thought it was going to be one of those "If I'm not around, my wife did it". Glad it's just a compute problem but sorry to hear about that too.

Well, ran the chkdsk/repair thingo, and it ran all day yesterday without a glitch. Even did some chopping last night. OK again this morn too. I suppose I just wait until it plays up again....
