one second coca cola eh they based thier site on thier origional logo which they changed after some market reserch... yes
you see an example i would use to promote the thoery logos last in your example of logos first... how red faced are you...
your logo has to encompass the company and has to be eye catching...
the origional coca cola logo was based around the script i see no coca cola script on the website aside from the logo...
i mean who ever made that site based around the logo forgot to use the logo font and should be sacked eh...
the idea of basing a site around a logo is daft...
a logo is usually made by either
company title (lions gate films, coke,
what they make or what they do (or connotations of) (twisted pictures, bbc radio (with the radio tower in the background)
what image the company has already
in rare cases flags or country logos
Your supposed to create logo that encompasses your company. in some way or another, the best logos are ones with connotations of what the company does... pixar lamp (origionally an animation done by pixar became the idenifying mark)
Twisted pictures make horror movies...
dimension films (oh look dimensions were used they even use the dimensional sound track)
gee i wonder how many other logos have connotations of the company and what it does.
