Well this is my attempt at a proper wikipedia article for PSC
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PhotoshopContest.com
Oh well if it ends up getting removed well no biggie.. anyhow, if you can be productive and have some spare time to improve the article to a proper standard, then please go ahead.
Thanks.
Oh, typing in photoshopcontest.com in wikipedia search should redirect to PhotoshopContest.com

Seems a big reason for the last deletion was that we did not include any web and/or media references to PSC. So if anyone finds, or remembers, mentions then they need to go on the page.
I remember PSC being mentioned in a video podcast and I believe PSC was mentioned in a magazine that DBB saw too? Anyone remember details?

http://www.imagestation.com/community/articles/photoshop-contest/sub.html
Quote: Never before has there been such a thin line between what's real in photography and what's not. Truth is, blending reality and fiction in photography has been happening since the first photographer realized he could combine images from more than one negative into a single photo. In the world of digital photography and powerful image-editing programs, image manipulation involves just a few clicks of the mouse. Savvy digital artists have moved past basic crops and blemish removals to create new worlds in the space of their images. One of the best showcases for these images is the community-based PhotoShop Contest site http://www.photoshopcontest.com/.
The basic premise works like this: every day a new photograph is posted to the front page of the site. These photos run from the everyday to the evocative, but serve only as starting points for community members to begin creating. After downloading the images, members get to work in creating a new picture from the base image. There are no hard and fast rules, and the entries range from crude cut-and-paste work to magnificent digital art creations that make you wonder whether there aren't a few Van Gogh's out there working in the digital realm. After the entries are posted, other community members can vote on them and leave their comments, eventually choosing a winning submission for each base image.

PHOTOSHOP SUPPORT:

scroll down to section: "Other Interesting Sites"
we're third item on this list
Quote: At Photoshop Contest users take a randomly chosen image, manipulate it and post it for the others to view, vote, comment and submit their own versions. You can check out some of the photoshop contests and entries by clicking on the images you'll find on the front page. Photoshop Contest also serves as a learning environment for graphic artists.
wikipedia has the following entry:

note the COMPETITORS have a link here - maybe we should edit THIS entry Quote:

If anyone can provide a detailed explanation (with the use of wiki's mathematical functions, if possible) for the concept of the PSCore, please add it in under contests.

Ok, I'll be willing to put up someone's image (in the contests section) as long as they permit me, I will also put up the source if that is permitted too.
No resizing necessary, just show the link, and I'll upload it. (or if you have an account, you can upload it and do your own copyrights or whatever)
