a logo should be readable in only 1 color.... Confused it's not readable because the frog completely obliterates the D. it also has too much details, i would recommend simplifying the whole concept. Not a good one for a Graphic design firm...

Hit the nail right on the head. Smile The frog on the right hides way too much of the "D". Nice design btw.

I agree, somewhat. If you where to decrease the size of the frog and reposition him(maby top left ) it would still have impact(maby even more so) but not cover so much of the D.

my 2 cents

maybe have the frog doing the charleston just to the left of the D, then an anvil flattening him Laughing

I really like the detail of the frog's body in the right, but the frogs limbs are completely out of proportion. Maybe you could swap the frog on the left's legs and arms with the one on the right, and make an uber logo. Good stuff Smile

you're hardly gonna use the logo at that size, always check if its readable at small sizes

the ones in grayscale is how your letterhead is gonna look thru a fax, but with much worse resolution

I did think of the sizing but, I did not feel I would ever use it through faxing since I do almost all my business transactions electronically, even faxing. But, I will need to step back and re-think the whole approach. I know what I don't want. I don't want a standard logo/mark. I want something with character/personality. It's too long/complicated also. I should have kept it simply and short. Problem is that the name is already registered with the state among other legal matters.

Your thoughts and comments are SO welcomed and very appreciated!

These are my older drafts of some other logo ideas before choosing the frog. I don't want to take backward steps but, wanted to get your input also on these because again, I think I'm much too close to this personally and I trully think I need other's input to help me move forward.

Interesting. Even though it's going to be used for a graphic design firm? The idea was also, which one will make you look for a longer time. Which one makes you stop and stare. I don't want it to be boring. Here's the whole thing. Perhaps this will help more.

I like the top one, it is way more distinctive and fun Smile

TBH i think the left frog is the better of the two but i do think it obscures the D to much.

And that's what I was just noticing as well...would there be any way to still use the frog but not have him clinging to the letters...maybe?

Ok. Here it is narrowed down according to the votes and comments. I'm trying to give it more character by modifying the eyes. What do you think?
