Lifetime Advantage was the biggest draw of an H2H for me.

It's a small risk for Procyon too. Many of the people who'd make it to the final four already have a lifetime Advantage.

Plus take into account the average time that members actually
are active on PSC on average...cost is the same as a two year.
Lifetimes, if they actually do go to someone that would stay long
term because of it, gives the site a core base of users that are knowledgeable.
3/4 of those who have lifetime are people who didn't hang around two years anyway.
Going to two year profits nobody.
Also those of us who have supported friends, youth without paypal, and psc, aren't exactly motivated to keep buying other people advantage...
and there is quite a bit of that...so two year actually becomes a big loss for psc financially.

I am a long time member, and I am not here every single day, but I love my lifetime advantage. I have spent plenty of time here the past 4 years and love being able to come back and post whenever I can. If I didn't have lifetime, I probably wouldn't have advantage at all.
While I might not post much, I do take advantage of the other abilities more often such as submitting & voting on upcoming photos.
If I weren't able to go to advantachat when I come, my visits would probably be even less.

If the top 4 dont get it like normal, then atleast the final 2 or the winner should.

yeah...lot of sweat in the H2H. Should get a healthy reward not to mention just the tradition.

Yep, definitely agree. AT LEAST the final two should get lifetime advantage.
This contest is harder than any daily contest because of the level of the participants. If you're only offering 2 year advantage, then the big guns may not be willing to participate again. I guarantee!
