GIMP AND/OR PAINT.NET
Trust me. It's not exactly CS2 but you can make some good chops with either one and they're FREE. Heck GIMPShop is set up to have a PS look/feel.

woohoo! got my computer running a couple hours ago and fired up PS. I have something now, at least. Hopefully I'm not going to get blown out of the water too badly...

I'm kind of concerned that yello will be a no show havn't seen or heard from him for ages... Even PMed him yesterday but no avail. Proc can you check if he's entered so far?
