Yeah I thought the hilights looked wrong too. But I do want to do something to give the impression of the curves in the head and neck.
Speaking of which.... is it possible to make a gradient that curves? Freehand has a "contour" gradient that seems determined by the shape. But it doesn't do what I want it to do. I'm thinking something like if I put a gradient in a PSD and used the warp tool to change it's shape.
Oh, and serious, sorry dude. I guess it was just your distinct vector style that gave me the impression.
