P.S. i got a bigger computer shoved under the bed upstairs, back up

i'm running PSCS2, FLASH 8 PRO, DREAMWEAVER 8.2, and 4 windows open in IE7,

i like my new puter Smile

window run soooooooo much crap in the back ground, every program you have has an auto update, you can turn all them off (on the rare occasion you use it, click help > update> sorted, the pro's have a word for all this background stuff, sponge??? something like that, an easy way to see if you've been HiJacked, log on to google, select a simple search word, bike, dog, see what your resaults are compaired to a local friends

I had to do a full system restore Crying or Very sad... so right now I'm installing everything back again... 3 major things... PhotoShop, dreamweaver and divx

It looked like you were running Vista? How long did you have the PC? Was it Gateway that told you to do a full restore?

It looked like you were running Vista? How long did you have the PC? Was it Gateway that told you to do a full restore?


This is a brand new pc.. no more than a week old, vista home premium ... when I called Gateway they couldn't fix the problem so I decided to do a full reinstall.

I only install 3 programs on any of my computers:

1. Photoshop
2. Dreamweaver
3. Divx

This coming from a guy that uses a "super" computer that has very good video and graphics cards and like 4 gigs worth of RAM! Oh and a crappy 15 inch CRT monitor. Wink
