did you know the font file is one of the main reasons your copy of photoshop takes so long to load?
remove 90% fonts to a new folder, reopen photoshop, bang there it is, replace fonts, back to normal.
just thought you'd like to know before you start loading 1,000s of fonts

Startup speed can also be gained when you disable the preview of the fonts in the font selector
*Edit -> Preferences ->Text -> Uncheck the Size Fontpreview
(*again translated from Dutch, english might be different but it gives the general idea )

I don't install all the fonts I have.
I don't think Windoze could handle it!
But when the installed fonts aren't quite what I need, I can usually find something usable in the uninstalled fonts.

i have a friend that use sendspace and raves about it all the time. i however have never used it myself hope that helps

so anyone with a load of fonts, would be a big help if I could share in the wealth too [[/b]
G'Day MB, Wiz here!
I trust you're a Mac Devotee, if so here's where I get most of my FREE Fonts:-
http://www.freemacfonts.com/
They're dead easy to download and are really sharp.
Try it, you won't regret it, trust me I'm a Pixel Doctor!
