I know, sometimes those pic sites take a while to up-load, but its worth it from the learning aspect of this craft, you can create the most subtle changes with .gif s, and by examining each frame you can see where the timing and movement come together.
Did I say movement?

yeah, whenever I see a gif or avatar that I want to know "how did they do that" I just download it to the desktop and open it in image ready... can learn even without asking. Just study it frame by frame.
I'm used to filming/editing, so this gif stuff takes a little more thinking - especially since I can't have the smoothness the clips can offer, but I've gotten the hang of it.

me personaly, i do the chopping in photoshop then send it over to image ready for the timing and to save as animation
