Hello coppin maniacs!
Just want to send you a "Hello", before my brain is going to melt away. Here in Vienna we have temperatures at 40° Celsius for over a week. Today the Austrian all-time-record of 1983 is expected to be beaten. Yesterday I had to change my clothes three times, and I did not move very much during the day. Just keeping the ventilator and a bottle of water beside me. For tomorrow the weather-forecast says heavy thunderstorms and rain - AND lower temperatures!!!
so long,
y.p.

Lucky you! We have been around those temperatures for about a month and we will not see rain at least till October, but I live right at the water's edge, so when I am not in the aircondioned house I'm in the sea so i guess that is not too bad either. But it is difficult to leave the house during the day.

John Jackson, the postmaster of Toll Bar Post Office near Doncaster, stands outside his still flooded store on July 1. A "fierce pump out operation" in one of the worst flood-stricken areas was boosted by the arrival of extra pumps from around the country, emergency co-ordinators said. Areas of Toll Bar and Bentley, north of Doncaster, remained under several feet of water but 10 additional high volume pumps were brought in to pump more water out to the River Don.
still no change
