This is my 1st attemped to create an underwater scene from scratch how did I do?

not too bad at all for a first attempt, nice light from surface look Very Happy

the sand would be tinted blue though and maybe add some particles at various levels of focus to give the feeling of a living life filled expanse. Also helps to build depth Smile

Looks nice.

A small thing I noticed. You use the same patern for the water surface and then mirror it to the bottom. Image on the bottom cannot be perfect mirror of the waves above

Would be better to create another pattern using the same procedure and filters because shapes should be different.

Overal, the mood is... well, underwater, good job.

My two cents.

Not bad. Don't use the plastic wrap filter. The ground would still look bluish because it is under the water. It is too brown. The water is toooooooo blue. Pick a more natural color. Look at real underwater images for colors. Overall, not bad. Nice shark, Did you draw it?

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Im gonna keep trying n this I had a lot of fun making it. I will also remmeber what you all said on my next atempt. ReyRey the shark is just from google.

I actually do like it, but yeah maybe a little less color...but nice lighting effects!

very nice! maybe what the others said....little desaturate and sand color change. I like the color of the water in davinci's. More realistic look. I was playin with a tut for a different kind of underwater. Mindgraph thanks a lot for the tut. Im gonna give it a try when out get out of work tonight. I went back to the drawing board with the tips from everyone here and this is the new copy.
