Quote: In the photo, volunteer Cameron Tarzwell, 13, cleans loose hair that has been shaved from an anesthetized cat, Princess, in preparation for an operation. Tarzwell has been assisting a veterinarian for four years. The photo was one in a picture story on a spaying and neutering program in Chester County in Pennsylvania.

are you saying this isn't real? because i work as a vet tech and i use a vacuum on cats that are anesthetized all the time we do it to remove hair that can possibly get into the sterile field. i how ever use one that plugs into a central vacuum port in the side of the wall w/ a hose attachment.

At age 5 I had a 125 customer paper route delivering the Philadelphia Enquirer. They had to be delivered by 6am every morning and the sunday paper was literally 3 pounds each. That said....that's an award winning photo for journalism? Why?

If I understand Mr. Tofu's topic correctly, this is about images that can be interpreted (by your dirty minds) as something they are not.
Like this one: just a parking brake, right?

No kidding. If I could be anybody in the world, I'd choose me.
It came at a heavy price, but..........what a hell of a ride.

parking brakes are for cornering, not for parking

vets don't tie arms and legs up - that shuts off circulation... and they wouldn't vaccum an animal either. someone's pulling your leg...
and speaking of legs, they should have shown a stick shift...

Guess I didn't 'splain it very well but Voks got the meaning of the thread perfectly. I found that cat picture to be very funny in a disturbing way.
Post pics that look naughty/suggestive/twisted but actually aren't. Ads are welcome but they're usually posed and chopped to give the effect. Real pictures that aren't posed/chopped (like the one above) would be best. Perspective shots are welcome too.

Actually my wife works for a large veterinary clinic. The legs aren't tied tight. They're just restrained to hold the area steady for the spaying process. The vet place she works used to vacuum the hairs but now they use those sticky lint rollers.

no what Tofu is suggesting is that if you see the picture without any explaination, you might draw some very interesting conclusions. Like the boy is a wicked cat torturing sadist
