Recently I took a trip down to Calif where me and a buddy have been building a house, in the city of Fallbrook!..just so happens during the time I was there the Santa Ana winds kicked up....fires and manditory evacuations resulted......after moving 5 horses,3 great danes and 3 black labs we returned to the house to wait out (protect the house) the oncoming fires!!!!!...these pictures are the day after the fire passed....the house was spared ....these images are roughly an eighth of a mile from the residence......word to the wise ...when given an order to evacuate ...FOLLOW IT !!!......we were lucky!!!
Glad to be back to PSC and my home in Idaho!!!!

unreal! Was the area you shot pics of empty land or were there houses in that area? Glad you both got spared from it. You were some of the few fortunate ones from the sound of it.

Thanks you all for the kind thoughts and words....I just reviewed some earlier posts of the fires and saw inquiries of me a few times........just goes to show what caliber of people we have here at PSC and its members.......you guys (and gals) rock.

It was quite the experience...week and a half with no electricity or water (drinking or bathing) smoke filled skies and the ominous red glow of the hills at night ......it was like visiting hell at night and the moon during the day time.....we were very lucky ...I PERSONALLY stood and watched with firefighters as homes burned to the ground in front of us!......Santa Ana's were clocked at 80-100 mph in the canyons we were in and when ya mix that with fire the word FIRESTORM really sets in ......there is NOTHING anyone can do with winds that strong and fires that large but stand back ...(as we did).........again I must remind anyone ever caught in this situation.....do not stay and try yo fight /ride a firestorm out!! If ordered to evacuate...DO IT!!!.......mother nature is nothing to be messed with when she's pissed off like as in the fires I experienced......

oh wow, glad fires passed you! I think these fires are a preparation of the government, to create a setting for the next mission to moon or mars, so they can fake the documentation of landing again
