Talkin about a CD that I almost wore out, when Pilgrim came out, I put it in my CD player in my truck and I bet it stayed there for almost a year, I don't think I'll ever get tired of it either
I like the Screaming Tree's and Broken Social Scene as well that's some great stuff
The Michael Franti and Spearhead was really good too Todd.
I may be getting my PC fixed within the next few days
life really sucks when you have no computer

There are those certain albums that will never get "tired" ...everybody has at least one I think. You know ... no matter how many hundreds of times you've played it( even to the point where ya had ta go out and buy another copy cause the one ya got is so worn it won't play any more) you'll never get sick of it?
Tough to answer.
The best album I have and I can't live without it is Neon Bible from Arcade Fire.
But I already talked enough about it. And I can't talk about future-proof or if I'll never get tired... I just bought that CD this year so... We'll see in 20 years.
So I'll talk about my very old album that I still like so much today. I mostly listen to recent stuff, most of the time I'm bored to listen to old stuff. But there's some exceptions. One of the exceptions is the Uncle Meat album from Frank Zappa (1968). That's unbelievable! Some part sounds a bit old but most of it is so modern & contemporary. Tough to describe... complex & just unique. Very different stuff in the Beatles & The Stones era...
Here's another small contribution to youtube...

I feel so out of place....
Favorites on my playlists include:
Pantera's Cowboys from Hell
Alice Cooper's Bed Of Nails or Poison
Anything by the band Poison
Old school Metallica
Bon Jovi, Def Leppard and Van Halen
Guess I like it noisy and full of guitar....
If you want to check out some Pantera sounds, you can go to http://www.pantera.com and click on multimedia. Great noisy jug-jug music...
I acutally used to have Cemetary Gates as the ring tone on my cell phone and I think it is still my myspace music.

I'll throw this one out there for any Depeche Mode type music fans...
My husband works with Adam Manning when he isn't on tour (I went to school with his sister) and he plays synth and does some vocals with Action Action.
Love the song Drug Like.

Fear not for I am not a stay at home mom and I am personally a big fan of metal/industrial (among other genres of course). I don't break out the Poison/Warrant/ Winger/Whitesnake/ Europe/... too often these days, but I do still listen to it (Motley Crew is exempt from this list, because I seem to listen to it more often then the others). Anthrax is pretty popular on my playlist still, and then more Industrial stuff like NIN, Tool, Unit 187,... And Depeche Mode/ Violent Femmes/ The Cure are constantly played. And last but not least... New Metal like Coal Chamber, Breech of Trust, Rage, SYL,...
(I don't watch TV at all, and I LOVE music, so I guess I listen to it all day long. This list could go on and on. My point is... you are not alone!)
