Yea following the idea of ANnajon, here's the place to copy the masters u like the most ...dunno... Klimt, Picasso, Van Gogh , Dali etc... ONLY using normal photographic externalz (no artwork) or just with PS tools... as u wish. The goal being to create a work in the style of ur favourite painter/drawer/illustrator or even photographer/sculptor too... this work should be new in its imagery (that means that u must not do a second version of "Le Dejeuner Sur LHerbe" by Manet BUT a completely new work in the style of the artist choosen.

Hoping my frenchie english is okay this morning and that u like the idea...

(Thx Anna)

GOGOGO!

Very Happy

OK, I will start working on finding scraps of images to make a nice new Klimt then. That gold should be worth a try, and the bright colours...

Here's something I did a little while back but thought it might fit into this concept.It's in tune with Dali's illusionist style (I think). I call it "The Redemption of Eve".

and a "Bacon"...
well ... as far as its possible to do a "Bacon with a computer...
didnt used any reference.... there should be several ways to get close to a Bacon's painting following his different stylistic periods... used Artrage here but i figure 'and experienced yet) that better result can be done with photoshop...

would have needed some more work to be really faking but it was quite enough to come up with this ... i had to stop to...at a pointed so that it doesnt look like a Micose Laughing that was the hard part, and go for a serious use of vivid colors too which i avoid in my painting generally...

This one I did reminds me of Ron Demore's art. Link to some of his stuff:

{Edited to fix link... should work now}
He isn't "famous", though. I'll see what else I can come up with.

Great! I really dig this one Naiko.You nailed Bacon's large,loose dry brush strokes down nice and tight.Plus the lush pastel colours against the dark BG.Also the abstraction of the form insinuating a recognizable shape.Very niiiice! Cool
