Ghosts may be the personified perceptions of particular or specific manifestations of generalized random forces (or energies) of cosmic chaos as they self organize via transient meaning into the intimate and intricate microcosm of the subjective individual (or sometimes collective) psyche. These manifestations are usually linked to physical domains such as places or objects which are soaked in or saturated with highly charged "trapped" cosmic energies due to a critical mass, emotionally impacting,event-specific occurance, usually with unresolved karmic overtones. The unleashing of these chaotic forces through various types of external stimuli or triggers and the subjective interpretation (or psychic organizing) of these is what gives rise to the "Ghost Experience".Not everyone has the psychic prerequisites or sensitivites to "perceive ghosts",thus they are categorized as fringe folklore and not culturally accepted as fact. It's only recently that science has developed theories (quantum, chaos and synchronicity being some) and instruments capable to deal with the para-meters of the para-normal, that the scientific community has begun to seriously investigate this interesting phenomena with rigor and credibility.
And speaking of CHAOS...
The Order of Chaos-Sublime Paradox and The Science of the Mystic:
Chaos is all around us and within us. Chaos destroys and creates. Chaos is the spontaneous, unpredictable movement of the universe. Chaos is the spark of change, the only constant. As the essence of unpredictability, chaos scares many. Scientists, in their ongoing quest to rationalize, understand and Order the universe, have been reluctant for centuries to acknowledge the tides of Chaos. In this century they are finally doing so; the funny thing (and irony) about this being that by acknowledging and trying to understand chaos, they are inadvertantly ordering it, fitting chaotic phenomena into their systems of analysis. And yet, is there not some kind of undefinable order inherent within the chaos of the universe anyway, a Web of Wyrd (Fate & SynChronicity) that may be glimpsed under-lying?
And is not all order, no matter how scrupulously organized, still ultimately subject to the winds of change and the tides of chaos?...and Castles made of sand fall into the sea eventualy.
