Good to see this, Sean!
I have a couple friends with a boy(Owen) who has autism. He's kindof a lucky one tho..as he is able to interact on a social level(to an extent of course with his vocabulary at this point) and probably benefited from his early diagnosis. I've spent much time around him and can see that he knows ALOT more than he leads on (or is able to tell you) most of the time and even more than others think he does.I Iove that kid and as much as I wish he didn't have autisim, I also think that he wouldn't be
Owen without it. Alot of people have the picture of autism in their heads, as "Rayman" but that is at a high level of the spectrum and before I knew Owen I thought that way also. There are many degrees. It's a real toughy...to say the least.
Someday they'll figure this one out tho.
