Ok fellow PSC members I'm opening up myself to complete chaos if this works!
About a year ago i called (on a land line) Mikose in France....well it cost me a little over $25.00 US for less than a minute talk time!
The money to me was no problem but my finacial advisor (the dude that pays all my bills) was astounded that I spent that much money on one phone call.........Hey welcome to the real world pal!!!!
Anyhoo i just signed up with verizon and they tell me any verizon to verizon phone call will cost me ZERO nothing ...nada that big zippo,..so...here I go .....and Iknow I'm gonna regret this...
Bhahhaaahahahaha...if ya are on verizon network and wann play and see if this truly is of no cost to me or you .................
CALL ME AND WE'LL CHAT ..........then once I get my bill I'll let ya know if in fact its true!!!!!.......Am I Mental??????
1-208-407-4677...please start off with your screen name first!!!!
GOD I KNOW THIS IS GONNA COST ME A FORTUNE
Also if ya punch in *67 before you dial, that will hide your phone number from me in case ya are worried

I currently use MediaRingTalk to make all my calls from my pc to landlines and cell phones... It is a totally FREE program, they are currently working on phone in that will also be free..
Can't go wrong.. as soon as they charge.. I'm done with it and on to the next one..
With internet prices and with technology for over the internet calling VOIP there should be not phone bills at all, it should all be based through the internet provider with no extra charge, cuz nothing else is different about it..

Is this your land line or a cell phone?
With my cell (Alltel) they have the same deal. Calls between Alltel customers don't cost anything and don't use any of my plan minutes.
I should add you to the "My Circle" list. Then it doesn't cost me anything to call you regardless of the network you're on.
Of course that would mean that you'd be getting all kinds of Alltel spam.

I've had verizon for over 2 years now and most of the people I call all have verizon as well and I have never had to pay for any verizon to verizon calls.
If you do, I would be sure to run down and find out why.
Good luck!

I have the all in one package with my cable company (cable, phone, internet) and I can call anywhere in the U.S. at any time and it is included in my price.
I never call internationally, though, so I have no idea about that. I save my international conversations for email or PM.

Agree..and i have used them (voip) for a few years now...may have to check out MEDIARING...is it only free for a trial period???..... Messenger's like msn, yahoo, aim....if you have a cam,and mic......act like a video phone.....for free.....I can remember when they first started charging for voip....i was like....that will never work......hell it's free ..... .but it did, and now people actually pay for it
They have a phone on pricewatch.com that plugs into your internet, it allows you to use it like a regular landline, instead of using the computer but it works on voip...but i'm cheap...so the comp will have to do....I communicate with my daughter by texting from my comp to her cell.....it's also free, she has unlimited texting(verizon)....so it does not use her minutes.....She can text a message, while looking and talking to you....it's wild to see her get a message and respond to it faster than she could prolly talk....DAMN TALENTED KIDS
